Scanning Tunneling Microscope (STM) - Attached to the Enviroscope Version 5.30

Computer Lab Linux and Windows compatible computers used to run empirical potential and quantum mechanical software; Most heavy computing experiments are done on our multi-node cluster.
Sample Preparation Lab "Geo-nano-chem-bio" sample preparation lab, which includes ion mills, optical microscopes, a potentiostat, a glove box, chemglass scientific apparatus and other sample preparation tools.
EMAL Electron Microbeam Analysis Laboratory (EMAL) is located on Central and North Campus.  This user facility contains various characterization equipment, including scanning electron microscopes, transmission electron microscopes, an x-ray photoelectron spectrometer, a focused ion beam, an atomic force microscope, and a X-ray diffraction.
