Microscope (AFM) - Enviroscope Version 5.30 equip with an
electrochemical cell, as well as an environmental chamber
Scanning Tunneling Microscope (STM) - Attached to the Enviroscope Version 5.30 |
| Computer Lab | Linux and Windows compatible computers used to run empirical potential and quantum mechanical software; Most heavy computing experiments are done on our multi-node cluster. |
| Sample Preparation Lab | "Geo-nano-chem-bio" sample preparation lab, which includes ion mills, optical microscopes, a potentiostat, a glove box, chemglass scientific apparatus and other sample preparation tools. |
| EMAL | Electron Microbeam Analysis Laboratory (EMAL) is located on Central and North Campus. This user facility contains various characterization equipment, including scanning electron microscopes, transmission electron microscopes, an x-ray photoelectron spectrometer, a focused ion beam, an atomic force microscope, and a X-ray diffraction. |
